Our Story

1967: The Begining

Founded on January 20, 1967, as a private non-profit organization. We began as the Day Activity Center in the basement of St. Catherine’s Church in Luverne, serving just two children with a vision for something greater.

1979: Growing Our Reach

Moved to our current location at 807 West Main, expanding our capacity to serve more families across Southwest Minnesota.

2007: A New Identity

Officially became Rock County Opportunities (RCO), reflecting our commitment to creating pathways to success.

Today: Serving 100+ Individuals

We now provide person-centered services to over 100 individuals and their families across four counties in Southwest Minnesota. When we work together to empower people of all abilities, they can realize their dreams!

Licensed & Trusted

We maintain the highest standards of care through comprehensive licensing and credentials. Meeting Minnesota’s comprehensive standards for disability services.
